A while ago I mentioned in passing to my husband’s old friend that the Fish Pie in

was reputed to be really tasty

He phoned me early today and said he had booked a table and would pick me up at 12.30

So today I mitched off college and enjoyed a lovely lunch in Finnegans

Tasty food, great chat - I had a lovely time.

My blip is of the Gutter Bookshop in Dalkey. It has retained its old village feel - but easy to do when the villagers are privileged in every way.
