“Come on, Dad. Race you back to the car!”

After sitting in the house waiting for the gas engineer to come and install new “smart” gas and electricity meters, it was good to escape for a wander along the canal. 
The engineer was booked for between 8.00 and 12.00 but didn’t show up until about 10 past 12! At least we got a welcome wee refund!
It was pleasantly dry and calm along the canal and, joy of joys, no high speed cyclists!
