Church on a Hill

This is a back blip now that I am safely home.  I have hardly taken any photos these last few days as it all seems such an anticlimax after the incredible experience of the last few weeks.

On the way back, the plane stopped off at Rio de Janeiro to drop some passengers and pick up others.  As we waited on board, an 'Emirates' plane pulled out from the adjacent gate to reveal this evening vista across Rio.  I just had to get my camera out to grab this shot through the plane's window.

Google tells me it is the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rock (Basilica Nossa Senhora de Penha or more simply Basílica da Penha)
