For his 40th, my husband got 40 quarters of sweets from his sister's family!

This provided a lot of giggles last night as we looked in all of the bags with a bit of reminiscing and some confused looks over news ones we'd never seen! We tried one out of most of the bags (well, we had to right?!) ... then felt a bit sick!

I remember when I was younger, getting quarters of sweets from our local news agents in Ambleside, Whitakers.

P.s. my next 39 blips could be more sweets! :)
