Toadstool Thursday

With heavy rain forecast for most of today I thought I'd keep my walk local so wandered to the woods for some toadstool hunting!  I had feared the paths might be a little muddy but I was pleasantly surprised it was so dry there!  The canopy of leaves still to drop has kept the mud at a minimum!!

A few mushrooms about to see including quite a few magpie inkcap which always look really cool! some lovely autumn colour still on the trees as well.  also got to play with some lovely dogs being walked over there including dalmatians and labradors!

And, annoyingly, still no rain!! Well done forecasters!!
