Leaving

With Uig pier out of action, today's ferry crossed to Ullapool instead. This involved leaving the house at 4:15am for the 5:30am ferry and then a four and a half hour crossing. Not too much of a pain with the spectacular west coast providing the backdrop for the latter stages of the crossing.
Then a little seven hour drive to Tricia's sister near Carlisle.
