Up and up and up

Today was Fathers day (not sure if this is international) so I spoilt hubby T as our four kids all live far away from PE! Went to breakfast at a lovely seaside restaurant and we then went for a drive further along our coastline.
This was taken at Maitland River Mouth - the most beautiful stretch of beach, with sea on one side and magnificent sand dunes on the other. I was fascinated at these youngsters who were labouring their way, with much huffing and puffing, to the top of this dune. They did get to the top and then disappeared over the other side. Sand boarding is very popular here.
The weather was beautiful once again - warm and sunny and cloudless skies....so I guess yesterday was our winter's day!!! We are indeed blessed with mild winters in Port Elizabeth!
