Movement
After the last couple of days, a wind down day. Late morning we had a walk around Risley Moss, our local nature reserve. The fresh air was very welcome. The extra is J looking out over the main Moss, all very quiet. Calm is what we needed today. We chatted to two rangers about the Mini Moss near the visitor centre, which is benefitting from the wet weather we’ve been having. Plenty of sphagnum moss established, and they’ve transplanted some bladderwort from the main moss to there, so are hopeful it will take hold too. It’s carnivorous, and supposedly the world’s fastest plant. Yes, there is such a thing.
Late afternoon I had a short local stroll. A view of the M6 motorway. Calm is not a word I would use for this view.,
