Cousins

A year ago my cousin Val and her daughter Suze and family moved to near Penrith close to her other daughter Caroline. Today we visited.
When I was a child I absolutely loved Val and her sister Chris. They were my female cousins and I grew up with 5 brothers and no sisters.
We haven’t seen nearly enough of her in recent years so it was absolutely lovely to be able to take advantage of the proximity to join her for lunch and briefly to see Suze and her husband who live close by.
And tonight dinner at the Dalesman in Sedbergh. Excellent.
