Slow Down

Good advice! So many people seem to be in such a hurry these days. There's a bumper sticker on quite a few cars on the island: Slow the Folk Down!  Folk isn't necessarily the word that comes out of my mouth when I see drivers speeding on these narrow roads and taking risks when passing or when they race by me when I'm walking.
I have to wonder how long it would take a snail to reach the road from this little garden that's down a hill and quite a distance from the road, and then how long it would take it to cross the road.  :-)
