Happy Fathers Day!
My final day in the Peak District and after collapsing my popup tent (it took longer to collapse it than it took to popup) Me, Mum and Dad drove over to Edale and had a brisk walk on the ridge upto the summit of Mam Tor, where we had stunning views of both Edale and the Hope Valley. We saw and heard Skylarks singing overhead in the sunshine. We also had to negotiate some cows that were grazing on the ridge.
After we had finished our walk we went to the National Trust tearoom (Penny Pot Cafe) in Edale and had the most wonderful cooked breakfast for lunch.
Here is a picture of Dad and I at the summit of Mam Tor taken, quite well actually, by Mum who doubts here abilities as a camera clicker!
