Beautiful Tissington Trail- Derbyshire Dales

More surprises today. Trip to Tissington to see a most beautiful village where we had lunch and visited the butcher to buy a tasty pie for tea. Then more of the Tissington Trail; this time from Ashbourne into a tunnel through the hillside and up the steady incline to Thorpe where we visited The Old Dog for refreshments before walking down, along the train track on our return.
