The Old and the New.

This blip shows Bingley Old Market Hall built in 1753, with the (now empty and boarded up) concrete monstrosity that was the Bradford & Bingley Building Society HQ, built in the 1970s, looming up behind it.
Sainsburys bought the building and the site and, at the end of 2011, were given permission to demolish this building and build a new supermarket.
Nothing has happened yet, and it seems the development is at least twelve months away.
