All is Calm

Poor old Sir Keir. He’s now on the hook for the killing in Palestine. A bit unfair I’d say, but he could have managed it a bit better. And it was a Scot Nat motion which caused the disarray! Result to Mr Flynn though I worry the irony is lost on him, being a youngster and not being well schooled and realising that we Scots are a tribe of Israel.* 
Anyway, I spent the morning putting back copies of the Club Newletter up on t’internet before taking the dinghy out the car boot and storing it on the boat. Except the storage bag could nowhere be found. Gagh. Still, I squeezed the outboard back into the club shed. 

Much correspondence later around the Club Council - the RYA is shining a light into all the affiliated boat clubs and is going to add to its rule book next year.
Is there a nominated individual(s) responsible for the welfare and well-being of members and participants?
Hahaha. That’ll be a laugh getting someone responsible for the well-being of members! Have they met them? And to aid this responsibility, I wonder what toolkit will be supplied. A magic wand? Or maybe just a gun - to shoot yourself with, obviously.



* though as the Declaration of Arbroath continues we….dwelt for a long course of time in Spain among the most savage peoples, but nowhere could it be subdued by any people, however barbarous.
