New laurel hedging

When we had the drive done in 2019 we had a trench left for hedging. Our attention has eventually turned from the back garden to the front and we ordered laurel hedging which arrived yesterday. I couldn't be much help with my tennis elbow (no better!) But I provided a good eye, a little trowel work and a roll and sausage. We intend to put a bottomless trough over the other trench to try to avoid the laurel roots going down too deep into the drive. Rob is painting the trough as I type and hopefully we will get them planted over the weekend.
