I'm not convinced that a small, slow fan which will pull the cold, damp air from the loft down into the house will have the intended effect of reducing condensation on the windows (as opposed to a large, noisy dehumidifier in the room(s) where the day's laundry has been hung), but the thing had been bought and delivered by the time I became aware of the plan.
