Autumn Glow

We managed to get out together for a walk this afternoon, and I took my camera in the hope that I’d find something blipworthy. I even thought I was going to manage a wren photo because I spotted one hopping about by the pile of rotting wood where I’ve photographed one before, but sadly it eluded me and disappeared into the undergrowth.

By the time we neared home I’d only managed two or three shots, and they weren’t very special. Then I looked up at the magnificent ancient oak tree behind our garden fence, with the equally elderly holly tree beside it, and decided I had my blip after all. (Looks much better in large.)
