Endurance, cookery, mermaids and poo...

I've been  volunteering at the Kendal Mountain Festival and spent the morning in the Book Tent making sure the tables were topped up with the all those enticing books about exploration, courage, environmental issues and personal loss, and brewing.  Whilst 'working' I may have flicked through a few of the books, and I may have read Lindsey Cole's 'The Mermaid, The Otter and the Big Poo' (suitable for 4-8 years).
