Deep rooted fear of extraction

Not me. But the not-so-little piece of ivory that was promptly seized by the Tooth Fairy. 

The cat is nonchalantly grooming in the vicinity. She must have heard that the French tradition stipulates that La Petite Souris is the creature that swaps coins for teeth. 
If it happens to be a hoax she'll take her chance on the Tooth Fairy. Apparently they taste like chicken.
