Top Secret

I happened to notice this nuthatch up high in a tree. His behavior caught my attention so I watched him through the camera lens to find out more. After facing the tree for a few seconds he quickly turned to look up and around before returning to the tree. This continued for more than five minutes. It appears he was tucking food into bark crevices for safekeeping • Another 50F day in November! How lovely :) I trimmed a few tall grasses and the last of the day lilies. I also smashed three pumpkins for the birds and deer to pick at after MrsP collected her seeds for next year’s garden. A few firm pumpkins and gourds are left for Thanksgiving • Happy Friday, and Cheers for a peaceful weekend!
