Edinburgh Castle

A brighter morning. Mist over the Pentland Hills, which had gone by the time I had finished breakfast.

The Lunchtime Walk has no moisture falling out of the sky. There is a dark cloud which is moving slowly east. So my walk ends in sunshine. Extra shows the larch trees at the east end of the park, which are now yellow and  dropping needles.

The afternoon walk is now after sunset. Plenty of light for most of the walk. The blip of Edinburgh Castle is taken just as the blue hour starts from the top of the Braid Hills.
