IT'S FLOWER FRIDAY

All the leaves are down around here and flowers are getting hard to come by this time of year with serious snow imminent.  So I'm back blipping this shot from last July.

This is Daisy Fleabane (Erigeron annuus) growing at Road America....photographers have to amuse themselves between races.  It looks like an aster but it isn't.  Asters are Fall blooming while Fleabane is a Spring blooming plant.  Common in fields, roadsides and disturbed properties.  It's often the first to grow in disturbed areas and such plants are called pioneer plants because of that propensity.
