50 years of marriage

The reason we went to Mombasa was to celebrate the anniversary of our good friend's parents. They have been together 50 years. I was not always easy but they did it and this was one very touching celebration. There was a church service and then a party.

This shot was taken before going to the party. I was up early and went to the porch of the room in which we stayed. Just before dawn I put the camera on the railing and forced the camera to take a nice long shot. The palms blurred in the early morning breeze as did the tide coming in but I found the shot quite calming and peaceful. I actually think the blurring works here...and you?
