Alpaca neighbours

Having travelled south from London by train this morning, we are now installed in West Sussex for the weekend.

My middle sister and her husband are hosting a belated 60th birthday party for Mr hazelh and his family tomorrow. This is mainly for the convenience of six members of Mr hazelh's family, who live nearby: his mother Gill, step-father Clive, smallest sister Sarah, brother-in-law Al, nephew Freddie (7), and baby Xander (5 months). The members of the rest of the family are travelling here from London (Beth) and Nottingham (everyone else).

This evening there were ten of us at my sister's house for supper. The other guests were Mummy hazelh (who has been here since 27th October), Sam, Alan, Beth, Paddy, and Paddy's girlfriend Dani. My sister and brother-in-law cooked us a marvellous Friday night curry.

After our meal we all headed off to our accommodation. Some are in the house, three are sleeping next door in a neighbour's converted barn, and Mr hazelh and I are staying with my sister's friend in the village.

We think that we have everything set up for the main event tomorrow, despite this afternoon's discovery of a Champagne shortage in Sussex.

I have blipped my sister's alpaca next door neighbours. They have such funny faces.

Exercise today: small amount of walking (9,969 steps).
