Golden Leaves and Honey Cat

I'm doing my usual Sunday collage on Saturday, for two reasons:
- There were blue skies this morning when I left on foot to go marketing
- Honey is 8 months' old today!

It's perfect to do the marketing in dry weather, and even lovelier when the sun is shining!  Unfortunately, the blue in the sky has been replaced by light grey. The sort of opaque colour of certain days in winter. 

I don't suppose I'll be taking weekly cat shots forever... but as most cat lovers know, our furry friends are so tempting to capture in all their different and wonderful attitudes.

There are many subjects that we enjoy photographing and we all have our favourite ones: birds, dogs, cats, grandchildren galore, still life, street photography, nature, countryside, from the most profound to the most superficial - we are all part of the things we photograph. We are in each image as much as if we had taken a self-portrait. It is our inner vision as well as the exterior one.
