Damsel, Not In A Dress But A Striped Waistcoat

I visited Amwell Nature Reserve again today in the faint hope of finding my car keys. No luck. :(

I hadn't long to spare so just checked out the dragonfly and damselfly area. I only saw a couple of dragons and neither settled. This Large Red Damselfly was quite a poseur and I got lots of pleasing shots of it. I have chosen to post this one as the background is a vibrant, uncluttered green which makes the red damsel zing. Red and green are complementary colours which play off each other creating impact.
