Bath saga continues. Fitted flexible pipes with isolating valves, where previously there was just pipework connecting to the taps, and a leak once before. Finally managed to connect up the supply and waste pipework and the moment of truth, turn the water main on, at about 16:00. Luxury, to have the water back on. Relieved to flush that loo. Then the pleasure of water in the kettle, and a cup of coffee, whilst constantly checking for leaks. Hot water tank took an age to fill, as did the tank in the loft. Hot water taps eventually flowed. Bit brown after the tanks had been stirred up, along with surges from filling with periodic air bubbles clearing out of the system. Supply pipework seems all okay, only leak was from seal around the bath drain, not quite sitting right. At last a thorough wash, this evening. Will leave the bath panel off for a while to ensure there are no other leaks... and undoubtedly become used to it not being fitted properly.
Bike MOT was early this morning, after putting some fuel in it. Have used it so little, that I last filled it up just over a year ago - one tank full for the past year, and it's not a huge tank. MOT was passed.
