Planned Day Out

Hoped we would manage to get a day out today but at 8am this morning the electricians rang to say they could get our jobs finished this morning so we didn't say no.

First thing this morning the rain was torrential and in the extra is my Mums yard.The rain has just been running down the roads.This is no surprise.Sefton Councils Politburo has no interest in the rural parts of their domain. The grids and curbs are all silted up and haven't been cleaned for many years.Litter picking never happens and the local services are crap.Still they do seem to have the money to pay themselves massive salaries.

So today Helen finished the potting of the one litre perennials and then helped me clean out the house gutters.General tidying around the yard because the day eventually brightened up.The main pic is three of the cats who decided after breakfast it was too terrible of a day to be bothered.
