A Milkweed Meadow

While I was away, John cut back the wee meadow leaving the grasses where they fell.  I went out and scattered milkweed seeds around.  Afterwards, I pushed them down under the grass in hopes one or two may sprout next spring.  Monarchs love milkweed.  Raining right now so I hope that pushes the seeds down to the ground around the meadow.  Today will be Christmas card making and some present wrapping.  Gift#319:  rain not snow.
