Rangers Ringing Tern Chicks....

Over at the reserve tonight and the rangers were out in a boat so they could get to the Common tern nests to ring the chicks that hatched a few days ago, Sam is on the floating platform ringing the chicks whilst the other ranger keeps the terns from dive bombing Sam. Sam ringed the chicks and weighed them too, a photo record was also taken.

The reason for a late night blip tonight is I have been to the Camera Club, the night was taken up with finding the best of the pictures throughout the year, for any group, A or B, all my 10/10 were entered, and This one, got 4th place overall and highly commended.
