No bribes needed?

The grandkids and their Mum stayed with us last night and we all went along to parkrun this morning. Grandpa had promised a trip to the cafe afterwards. It was a bit drizzly as we left the house, but not too bad … when we arrived, however, the heavens opened, so we sat in the car for a bit hoping it would go off (first extra). Eventually decided we would just have to brave it as it probably sounded worse in the car than it was (?), and would you believe it, by the time we got to the start area, the rain had almost stopped (second extra with juggling jogger). In the end we were all reasonably pleased with our times and young Paul did his best time yet.

The hot chocolates for the kids and coffees for the adults were extremely welcome!
