Cracking up after hearing about Mr. T and Harebrain's antics in McDonald's, Widnes yesterday:

Two elderly persons rock up to McDonald's, one is pretty deaf and the other is a Ceoliac ......

Coeliac asks waitress if McD have any "Gluten-free" rolls/baps;
Watress mishears and thinks Coeliac has asked if there is any "Duty-free" in here and calls the Manager .............
Manager arrives and does understand the Ceoliac's question but has to get the clip board with dietary information on and, with such confidence, tells Ceoliac, she can have 'chips';
Ceoliac is disappointed and orders a salad; the deaf one (Mr. T) who had ordered a Chicken Burger is now told it will be a 'Chicken McSandwich'. Deaf one says "but I don't want a sandwich".....
Waitress remained calm and told deaf one that a 'Chicken McSandwich' will actually arrive in a bap.
There is now an even longer than ever queue forming.....
then there is a choice of beverages and we quite like the look of the 'fruit smoothies' but deaf one says if its too cold it might bring on a headache, but Ceoliac ploughed on regardless and ordered two 'fruit smoothies'.
Waitress,whose face had started out a delicate shade of pink has now turned to puce and says..... "please go and take a seat and I'll bring your order over".
The deaf one and the Ceoliac, once settled on the high seats,rubbing shoulders with all the rest of the well-seasoned McDonald's customers ...... enjoyed their meals!!!

We've had a great weekend, lots of fun, lots of laughs. Our new des res is really nice (not a brand new caravan) but it has been very well maintained, lovingly looked after and enjoyed by the last owners; she towed beautifully and is now parked up and our home to enjoy at the Long Mynd Gliding Club and for a bit of touring in the future, perhaps??

We saw SAM sitting on a post outside the Harry Tuffins store at Church Stoke,near Montgomery this afternoon whilst shopping for such items as 'loo bloo', a new camping kettle and essentials for the new alternative accommodation. Apparently, Sam is quite a crowd puller at the store and poses like anything if he sees a camera!!
