The ‘long walk’ today, through The Hermitage and over Braids Hill. The effect of three weeks of almost continual ‘colds’ has had an effect - I was tired by the time I got home.

After lunch I took the roofbars off the car and emptied out all our belongings from the various pockets and cubbyholes. One of the kids had left some boiled sweets to go manly in a door pocket. Which was a lovely surprise. It’s been a good car.

And then up the road to the shops. Accidentally bought cake.
