Hatfield Galleria

After morning chores we jumped in the car and drove down to Hatfield Galleria to meet Greg, Gabby and the two children for lunch.

I forgot to get any family pictures and although I quite liked the escalator image in extras, Callum was going on and on about how much has changed round the area of recent times.

Seems it was about 18 months ago he last went that way down the A1 and what is now (under construction) to be a huge block of shared ownership flats was a used car sales garage and before that a van sales garage.

This was his regular work area some years ago. Now of course you just miss all the built up area if you are going north or south on the A1 as the ‘Hatfield Tunnel’ routes you swiftly through. I just looked it up and ‘the tunnel’ was opened in 1986!! Another reminder of how time flies by.
