Meddling With Shakespeare's Words
I got a shot of the muntjac buck, who we met on our early morning walk. Unfortunately the light was very poor and he was obscured by brambles. :(
Another quite busy day with no time for photography. The medlars are ripening up nicely but won't be ready for eating until they are bletted, that's almost rotten. I've picked and kept them until Christmas in the past when I have served them to the family. They weren't impressed.
I was interested to read that Shakespeare's friends, who published his works, censored his writing by removing reference to open arses, as the fruit was know as at the time and called them “open Et caetera”.
