Dumfries House

At last, I have got around to visiting Dumfries House in Ayrshire and it was a wonderful day out!
The weather forecast was for non stop rain but it wasn’t as bad as expected and we did have a few glimpses of sun in between light showers. We had booked the ‘Grand Tour’ of the house and it was very interesting and impressive. The grounds were very autumnal but lovely to see and hopefully we will return to see them at a different time of the year.
