Teazel No 2
Last one, l promise. I also admit this was taken at the same time as yesterdays teezel and again l have not seen new plants growing from the old one. Perhaps they are baby teazels or a totally new plant that grown as a seed has got caught in the spikes. If you look hard you may be able to see quite a lot of very fine cobweb strands too.
Yesterday's weather was a stinker but improved a bit in the afternoon, we went out into Hertfordshire to the game butchers. I spent the rest of the day cooking up a storm of casseroles and l made a quince tartin with some windfall quinces.
