A new frond is slowly unfolding

Two long stints in the garden today. In the first I was occasionally rained on, but very light rain it was.In the afternoon I needed a hat to protect my nose from the sun.

Planted some tomato plants. There was quite a deep covering of garden mix; over clay. Dug out the clay and found somewhere to deposit it, and then mixed garden mix with compost from our bin. Can't be very much left , now.

Really pleased to see the growth of the new frond starting to unfold. Still a way to go for certainty, but its looking good thus far.
