He did it!

Lucy and I headed over to Farnham to help backstage with all the little dancers and Josh and Natalie were helpers too.  It really is a manic half hour.  The parents drop them off and we put their dance shoes on and have bags for the different groups for their coats and shoes.  Previous years, parents come round to pick the children up but this year they were not allowed. So we had to make sure they all had the correct shoes and coats before taking them around to the side to do it.

Oscar was absolutely brilliant.  Some of the little girls were a bit overwhelmed and cried but O took it all in his stride and did really well.  We were all so proud of him.

Nat had been for a check up yesterday.  The baby’s head had been engaged for a few weeks now but apparently he’s bounced back out!!!!  So the plan going forward is another check next Tuesday and then Friday and if nothing happens before next Sunday she will go in to be induced.  We have a busy weekend next week so, rather selfishly, I’m hoping he decides to make an appearance earlier in the week.

But this meant that they were both able to watch Oscar make his stage debut at 2.5 years old.  Nat said she was in tears. Aww… bless.

I had been given strict instructions to not watch O from backstage by Bex as he does tend to look round and she was worried if he spotted me he would come over to me.  From Nat’s video you can see me watching with a huge smile on my face and, yes, he does turn round and I hide and then pop my head back out lol.

We all went for a drink afterwards and then headed off in separate directions.  Lucy and I stopping at the Packhouse for a browse and a couple of bits may have dropped into my basket.  Heading home we picked something up to eat as Mr C was at rugby and a chilled evening was had.
