Daffodil Shoots

I spent some time this morning looking for a book of cross stitch patterns; I knew exactly where it was, except it was not there! At least while looking for it I sorted out some clothes to go into the Fireman’s recycling bin.

I had looked through all of our bookcases, we have quite a few, but could not find it. As I sat down at my desk, I decided that the only place I had not looked was on the bookshelves each side of my desk; it was there, much smaller than I remembered and with a different coloured cover.

Today’s picture is of some of the daffodil shoots that are beginning to appear around the bottom of our fruit trees.

The temperature at noon today was twelve degrees Celsius.
