Summer / autumn reads

I’ve lost my reading mojo lately, but these are some of my summer / autumn favourites.

I didn’t know it at the time, but I started reading A Pocketful of Happiness on the week that we lost our beloved Auntie Linda to the same disease that took Richard E Grant’s wife. It was both full of sorrow and joy, not shying away from the pain of grief but not allowing it to be the only, all-consuming emotion either. A book of breaking and mending, if you like.
