Beef stew and herby dumplings

Guess what? Another miserable day so trip to a local garden centre with son G then home for supper. I meant to blip this course in the pan, but forgot hence the plated version. Not many points for presentation but bonus points for flavour. The desert Chocolate Float Pudding appears as an extra - something like a large Fondant Pudding with plenty of chocolate sauce.
