Llyn Padarn

Set off for a long weekend in North Wales this morning. I drove to Jan’s, where I left my car and she drove the rest of the way - it was very nice to share the journey as it’s a long way from where I am. We got there in time for a quick stop at the end of Llyn Padarn to look up the lake towards Snowdon, which was in the cloud, but at least the sun was out for us.

Fun and games getting up the track to the cottage we’d rented - it was steep in places and covered in slippery leaves - but we made it in the end. Lovely cottage, and once Ian, Andy and Sara arrived, we could all settle in for the weekend. Nice to spend time with my siblings.
