Donaldson's
Out by bicycle to West Coates; a bright sunny morning that clouded over later. The gate to Donaldson Crescent was open. Architect William Playfair. This was built as a school for the deaf ; it's now a residential property development with new build flats around the crescent.
Met R, and we cycled to Cramond; I missed the route I'd intended to take but we got to the foreshore; cloudier by then, and calm; very little of the gusty West wind forecast happened. I found a puncture, which was vexing .. so we walked along the shore for a bit instead of riding the loop back to the New Town.
A very pleasant morning for a walk; lots of oyster catchers and some turnstones on the shoreline.
