A beautiful day …..

….. ….. ….. for a walk around Lake Hayes.
There was more birdlife than the collage is showing but the images would be too tiny.

The dark coloured duck with the two babies, with their red heads, are scaup. I’ve never managed to see scaup babies before.

The view over Lake Hayes is looking westward, towards Queenstown and the Southern Alps.
