Blencathra - again

Drove off south today and stopped off for a hill walk on the way to Birmingham.
We’ve been up Blencathra a few times but it’s always a good one - and we always take a picture at this tarn!
From there it was back on the motorway for the long tedious drive to Birmingham and the Friday night traffic.
Our destination was our old university for a big reunion - 40 years since we graduated. How did that happen? Tonight was just the pre event gathering but lots of fun and chat with old friends - some we’ve not seen in almost 40 years. Lots of laughter and catching up.
