Light and Shade…….

…… on the distant Wither Hills. The hills have morphed from spring green colours to the golden brown of summer.
That has occurred a little earlier than usual this year. I suspect this is because October and November have not had the normal amounts of rain. It is going to be a long, hot summer. F
Bailey the puppy was here for the day. She was dropped off at 8.30am and her Mistress R picked her up after 3.pm. Bailey is a joyful wee being. So bright, so fast and keen to “help” in the garden….. attacking the leaf rake and later tugging on to the broom. She is determined to “kill” each of these implements.
