The Dove tree

A new one on us ... imported to Norway from China, and the distinctive flowers account for the popular name for the tree (Davidia involucrata botanically, I believe). Planted in these botanical gardens in Oslo in 1950, took 30 years to flower, and now flowers every year, attracting many smiling viewers.
