New start

A new member of staff started today so I was busy with her induction. Since we were quite efficient in the morning, I took her to see people who she will hopefully work with. First it was the local school librarian - always a pleasure to spend time in his library (blipped) and they seem to get on. 
Then we went to see my team at Library HQ, and finished with two other branch libraries. I think she is going to be good, and having her around will certainly lighten my workload considerably. The post had been vacant since April (including long-term illness and recruitment time).
