Too early?

One of the girls sent a message to our neighbourhood WhatsApp group on 13 November to say her Christmas tree was up. Most of the families on the street joked that they would either have to blindfold their children or take them to school the long way round for the next couple of weeks. Today was the first time I was passing and it looked very cheerful - but then I don't have excitable, young children.
